Live from DreamHack Winter 2008 #2
Day three of DreamHack Winter 2008 is coming to an end and since we had a few technical issues with getting yesterday’s blog update online, we’ll combine it with a few news and pictures from today.
Followed by a well deserved applause from the crowd, the Incorporated WoW guild delivered great entertainment during the 25-man raid and main event last night. In general, the Incorporated live raids have been a huge success so far with leader Kamy commenting on the moves from the 25-man team as well as throwing competitions for the crowd in between action.

Crowd shot from the Friday night main WoW event at the SteelSeries booth.
The Counter-Strike fans had lots of reasons to stop by the booth today and yesterday as well, since dsn from the fnatic team, female aimstar from MYM, zAAz and SK Gaming’s Tentpole each had a one-hour 1v1 session, offering SteelSeries 4H headsets to the winning challengers.

Arguably the best aiming, female Counter-Strike player in the World - zAAz from MYM. zAAz played 1v1 shoot-outs for about 6 hours in total at this event, not loosing a single match.
Finally, the ASUS WGT shoot-out 1v1 event just finished tonight with Björn “threat” Pers from the Swedish GIANTS team, taking down Jovan “Mage” J. and thereby walking away with the ASUS gaming PC worth of around 5.000 Euro, including SteelSeries equipment and a big bunch of games to go with the main prize.
Here’s a few additional pictures from the SteelSeries booth, the Blizzard StarCraft II and WotLK areas as well as the Norton booth and mousesports player Kapio:
