what kind of mouse need software in order to work why cant they just allow you to use the buttons in game with out downloading something extra

one more thing i use the key bindings in game not the software all my spells are on my mouse i have no need for a keyboard other to strafe left and right and check stats

hey justin
i think these forms are dead i just stopped updating the software all to gether my butons still work but i find me opening the mouse software then disable and re enabling the in game options then in the game settings re enabling detect wow mouse seems to work for me ..

its like some times it works some time it dont i play in windowed mode the only two buttons work the two right next to the wheel mouse button works so i find my self setting every thing up agin like i do every time i start the game up “what i said up above”

i have no profiles set just that it know to work in game the little check box that is all i do. the software its self is junk. but it does work to let you use in game “for me that is” i still have 1.6

and i think your right about it not updating the system settings when you update to a newer version hope this helps but i think you know as much as i do when it come to this bad ass mouse with shittttty software

I too am having the same problem. I believe that the driver is not updating in the computer. For me the problem is more than the lights. The only features that work are standard mouse features. None of my other buttons are recognized. . .

How do we fix this?

i have same problem as agrona.. i have the version 1.06. works fine. but color and toons and thats it.

so yea i just got done reading all the bs about this sweet mouse but none of you peeps ancer a simple question how to fix the color problem the mouse works fine for me but just cant get the color to change for different toons profiles sigh… any ancers NOW USEING “WoWMSW_v1.06 software”

v1.06 is out but I recently had my repaired so I bought a Razer Mamba (worst mistake ever). I’m going to try and return this Mamba to Razer for another one that works properly and sell it. Then I’ll go back to my wow mouse as its killer for photoshop too! Anyone know what new in this, I haven’t opened the box yet for the new wow mouse.
