“… for hardcore WoW players”
XSReviews’ Whoopty recently got his hands on the World of Warcraft MMO Gaming Mouse and posted a full, 9 page review this Friday.

Copy/paste of the in-game testing:
“I setup a rest key to give myself a quick way of gaining health and mana back instead of typing “/sit”. I also threw in a few chat commands I liked to use , adding those to the buttons I hadn’t used before. After time, I managed to turn the mouse into something that was geared exactly to my playing experience, giving me all the commands I need on one hand, meaning I don’t even need to touch the keyboard for quick shortcuts. As soon as I noticed myself using the keyboard, I added the command to a free button on the mouse.
If you really went to town on this, you could add a profile switching button and having different profiles geared up to different situations that you might need certain button combos in. You might even like to add certain DPI values and Polling rates if you wish.”
Part of the final conclusion:
My recommendation is that the WoW mouse, is really for hardcore WoW players, but if you use it otherwise, it will do what you want and more; but perhaps more than you need.
XSReviews awarded the WoW MMO Gaming Mouse 4 out of 5 stars - read the entire review here.

So you sent them on that actually works or did they just review one without actually using it?
I guess when you get free stuff to review, you don’t exactly want to stop getting stuff by trashing it (which is all you could do in regards to the WoW mouse as it stands).
I’m waiting on my replacement mouse. I’m actually giving them a second chance. It’d better be great or it’s back to Logitech for me.

I’ve been using this mouse for about a 5 days. This is the second one i’ve used in the last 2 weeks. The first died on me 4 days after purchase.
After getting my second one, it is continuing to disconect from my computer. Im worried about it dying on me yet again. If it does ill just go back to logitech where ive never had any problems
This is a pretty pricey mouse to have the problems that i’ve been having. I cant recommend this to any of my guild memebers or friends just cause of the issues ive seen.

This company has proven they are only out for your money and they will stop at nothing to get it. NEWS FLASH, by scamming people over and over, they will lose all the money they have scammed out of people and any furture money they may have received for this so called mouse!!! I see law suits coming and for good reasons!! This company needs to be closed down!!

Now, can you show us a favorable review from a “hardcore WoW player” who’s played WoW for more than ten minutes?
The author of this review is under some misconceptions as to how the game works. He could stand to read the annoying little tutorial tool tips as he levels his new Tauren to get a little better understanding of the game mechanics.
I know several people who have tried this mouse, and not a one who’s satisfied. It’s a shame. It’s certainly pretty. Maybe there will be a v2 in the future that doesn’t share it’s mechanical shortcomings. Hopefully by then the software issues will be history as well.

I can’t believe the errors they made in regards to this product. I’ve just been fiddling with it for 2 minutes and have realised it is completely unusable for me.
Macros? Please. It literally types out what it’s supposed to do, rather than just doing the command as macros in game do. If you’re moving forward when you press your macro you’ll get /cast diswwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwmantlwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwe
and nothing will be cast.
Even worse of a problem (as you could just make the macros in game then bind them to a botton right?) Is that you CAN’T bind the buttons on the mouse to a normal keyboard button. I can’t bind middle mouse to “#” for example. I also can’t bind the button to an acion bar button in the game unless it’s to the default action bar 1.
If I want to bind it to something which is on Bottom left action bar button 2, not doable. Same for anything outside actionbar 1. Which makes this completely useless for anyone with a class who’s bar changes (shapeshifting / stealth)
A complete waste of time. Two months overdue and highly disappointing. Back to Logitech.

Definetely agree with Andy.
Why do not put Macros as it done in game.
That is weird to put it through “say”.
Why it works only for action bar 1? Why do not put other bars here. Very strange.
