Software updated for WoW MMO Gaming Mouse

Friday, January 2nd, 2009

Just a quick heads-up to let the WoW MMO Gaming Mouse owners know about the latest software update for the mouse.

The new driver version became available on Tuesday the 30th of December and includes the following couple of fixes:

  • Fixed issues with mouse button 4 and 5
  • Added French and Spanish support
  • The new software can be downloaded via our downloads section - remember to delete the existing profiles during uninstall of your current software.

FragYou.net will be continuously updated when more updates for the mouse software are announced.

On another note, I urge you to get in contact with our support if you have an urgent question regarding the mouse and have in mind, that even though we might not answer your questions in the comments on this blog, we are spending time on improving the mouse software and monitoring the feedback provided by your comments - no matter how destructive or constructive they might be. ;)

    Ultimate Gaming Tour announced

    Friday, January 2nd, 2009

Yesterday was a big day for us - not only was it the fresh beginning of an exciting year to come for SteelSeries but we were also able to finally burst the bubble and reveal our UGT project to the public.

UGT stands for Ultimate Gaming Tour and is a Counter-Strike 1.6 1vs1 tournament with 14 qualifiers across different Media Markt retail outlets in Sweden, boasting a 1st place cash prize of nothing less than 100.000 SEK (9.000+ Euro).

A massive line-up of professional players have already endorsed the tournament on the splash site including players from SK Gaming, fnatic and MYM as well as retired CS 1.6 legend, Michael “ahl” Korduner.

We do expect to see UGT attendance from quite a few top players and we will cover those in the weekly profiles section, however since the tournament is open to everyone above 16 years of age, regardless of nationality, there is no possible way to tell who will take home the gold.

Check more info in the press release here, where you will also find some info on the brand new version of aim_map which will be the default map for all UGT matches - and make sure to check the official Ultimate Gaming Tour website.
