We’re proud of the Fnatic guys - ’nuff said. G7 actually updated their World ranking for Counter-Strike 1.6 a few hours after the ESWC Chenoan Masters event, where Fnatic now has dismissed long-time holders of the top spot, mTw, making them the official best team in the World.

My all time favourite player is f0rest.
Leading the team with his great teamwork & leadership, are just 1 of the many aspects that i admire about him.
He also has insane aim & is a superb clutcher. Sleek & wicked, he can sneak up to enemies or just simply overcome them with his firepower.
However, what i truly admire about him is his mental attributes of a professional eSports player. His utmost dedication, determination & calmness even in dire situations surely does give his team the best chances to pull out from slumps.

My favourite player is cArn
I think all these years in fnatic, he was the key to success. If I am not mistaken, he is the tactics caller and in game leader. His ability to innovate, and improve his team’s gameplay and strategies, are really what matter nowadays in counterstrike. Furthermore I really like the motivation he has, for continuous improvement. The “brain” of the team.

My favourite player would be dsn.
In my view, he reflects what every talented person (not only video games player) should be. Humble, smiling, dedicated to his team, teammates and fans, and of course very skilled. He’s the kind of guy that, even if I’m sure he enjoys victory as everybody does, will never overreact or stuff. He always remains silent and respects his opponents, he seems to be one very wise person.
For all these reasons, yes, Harvey is definitely my favourite fnatic player.

solid defence tactics with a phases of aggressiveness added ,forming a solid foundation of super strategical Counter terrorists formation.Hazardous aims,beautiful colt,long shot picks..
Besides being a very talented Counterstrike player with world class skills,he adds to the team ,the most important ingredient that is ,performance at the most crucial times with a truckloads of pressure.
He seems like a very modest guy having high ambitions which surely is seen with being getting gold @esl masters ,his very first major competion abroad…

what i like about f0rest is his crucial aim and determination two factors necesary for a competitive player like him.when i watch fnatic’s demos i always watch him and try to copy his play style.in my opinion even at this time he is the best aimer the world has and can easealy overcome his oponent’s.another thing that i like about him is when the match is at count he bottle’s up and maintain his focus in order to help the team win an important event.i watched all his matches at eswc cheonan and i was speechles during his play with mtw on dust 2.f0rest has that “magic” that no other player has and that’s why in my opinion he is and will be the legend of cs.

He has been in fnatic for a long time and in my eyes hes the one responsible for the succes of fnatic. Of course it’s a team and together they are the best and only together but cArn seems to be the guy who is able to keep his head cool and lead the team to victory. Being the ingame leader is no easy job at all and requires a hell lot of intelligence and responsibility. For some reason Patrik cArn just has the intelligence to lead the team to victory and that’s such an important skill, he might not be the most skilled player but in my eyes he’s certainly the most advanced tactical and smartes player in the game!

My favourite player is Get_Right because he is always calm and always thinking at mux. Always confident in his skill and his team. He shows that he can be a PILON in the team and keep them on the winning ways. Also hes ingame skill is always important for the “BIG” matches versus teams like mTw, Sk, wicked ….. He and GuX brang a lot of motivation in the fnatic lineup which helped them to become again such a power. Till now they were always 2-3 place, from now on they will be 1st or 2nd always at least for 2-3 months. fnatic will be the 2009’s mTw ;]

Hello, my favorite player is f0rest.
Why ?
Because he’s the best aimer ever, in all situations, he keeps is calm on : almost never spray, just 2/3 bullets are enough.
He can be in a very fast situation and still stay calm and take his time (but never too much) to aim the opponent and make an headshot.
In every match, even if he doesn’t frag the most (doesn’t really happen often), he always do a great part for his team : he almost never let an opponent a 100% HP.
He’s a smart player, fast and precise.
Moreover, he seems to be a cool guy out of the game, always making some crazy grimaces.
I can add that in the game, whatever who is against him (Neo, walle, whimp…), he doesn’t lose his concentration ingame and still play his role. He can “unblock” certain situations using his mind, skill and luck :)
Really, I think f0rest is not only the best player in fnatic, he also is the best player in the world.

My favorite player is Harley “dsn” Örwall former player of Eyeballers and Begrip, is a world renowned AWP player and all rounder. Coming into the team after a successful first place finish at CPL Singapore as a stand in in 2005. As a captain, he reformed the Counter-Strike team in early 2006 to what it is now, one of the world’s best. With Harley’s drive, enthusiasm and skill to succeed, he showed a great run in 2006 and is eager to continue this in the future with Fnatic Counter-Strike

No matter how much CS has changed over the years there is one thing that has remained constant. The better TEAM always win. Carn Epitomes this idea in his leadership and running of Fnatic. As a brilliant in-game strat caller and team leader he makes the team function the way it should. When things go bad, such as the previous lineup, He made it crystal clear that line up changes were not going to be happening because of two bad tournies. That may look meaning in hi-sight because of how the new line up is doing now (In a class alone with Wicked but mainly mTw), but it’s because they work so great together as a team that makes them successful. Cutting people is not the response to have, but to work hard and improve. Carn has won my respect with his leadership and that is why he is my favorite player.

1st of all, i want to say: ” i love Rasmus “Gux”. especially when i watched how he played in apartment in the de_inferno. That’s my position in my team VietCyberFriends/ VcF. He knew what he doing, he knew how to work with his teammates, he knew where the enemies, and he fraged them. So yesterday night, i and my teammate who play bombside tried to copy the way fnatic played. the 1st try, my teammate wanted to flashed apartment, so i could peak but i was too indecisive and asked him waited a little longer, then a Terrorist peaked out and got him. It’s really my fault. After that, we tried again and this time we did it correctly, the 3 Ts in apartment was blind and i got 3 headshots inside. I was so happy ^_^
It’s my 1st time watching fnatic playing LIVE and the feeling was excited. whether it’s SK or fnatic, whenever it’s a 1onX or 2onX situation, it made me couldn’t breath. My team always have to play with hackers every night. Most of them use wallhack and it’s frustrated. Many people in my team quited because the game is dying. But after i watched ESWC grand final 2009, i can see a hope inside. Thank you!!

GeT_RiGhT is my favorite player. Mostly because of how much he has grown over the last year. He started in a semi-elite team, and became better and better. He was lucky to become a part of the SK organization after a long time with the semi’s, but unfortunately he was kicked, returned and played for GIANTS which were a good team, but not as good as fnatic. Today he’s the shining star, and has a very agressive playstyle, but he can also lay back and trust his teammates. my favorite player is dsn
he is simply an inarguable awper in the CS 1.6 scene, and for sure the key player in a team..he’s the most talented in handling awp in the team as the rest are trusted on their AK and MP4..so “x” down on the opponent’s side will give a relief to other players also. it makes the situation of particular round a bit easier.
besides, he enjoys traveling when there’s no training and that tells he knows how to use his limited time in entertaining himself instead of playing CS 1.6 alone. the experiences he wrote on Fnatic’s blog explains pieces of his life.
ergo, dsn is surely my favorite player.

One of the best aimer in the world who won ‘Best Counter-Strike Player’ in 2006, f0rest, is my favorite player on fnatic.
His fast movements & superb aim has brought fnatic to the next level since his early days in fnatic. He may not be the loudest person in the room, but his bullets definitely speak louder than anybody in the game.
Another thing that I like from him is his aggresive style as well as his ability to overturn the game with his insane spray. One crazy moment I’ll never forget is when he had an ace vs 5 mibr players on de_nuke at ESWC 2008.
That moment was very creepy and cool in terms of how he fragged 5 world class players just like that. He makes thing looks so simple & easy!
That’s why f0rest will forever be my fnatic’s favorite player.

My favourite fnatic player is carn because every body seems to give so much emphasis on fragging and solo ability but in my opinion the role of the strat caller and leader is the most difficult and challenging role in counter strike. You have to predict the other team’s moves and anti-strat accordingly. Carn is in my opinion the best strat-caller who bases strats on the individual skills of players and apart from that he is an insane fragger as well. Hats off.

I’ve seen so many matches of fnatic in all kind of tournaments and i saw fnatic playing with so much confidense.
My favorite fnatic player is Harley “dsn” Orwall. He is already the longest in the team.
Why? Because he’s just such a stable player and not only with awp but also with ak47. This tournament he played like 3or4 2vs1 situations on dust2 and he always won. Not only his skill but his teamplay and confidence in the team, he always keep pushen his team to the limit durning the game, winning or losing. I just have one word for him: FANTASTIC.

My favourite player is f0rest. This is because he seems to defy the laws of competitive gaming. Whether it is running out and mowing down an entire team or winning a 1 on X situation, f0rest just seems to do the impossible. When other players would easily get shut down, f0rest triumphs. The fact that f0rest can be as gung ho as he likes yet still remains a world class player is astounding. Playing so aggressive usually spells trouble in higher leagues, but f0rest’s amazing aim, incredible timing, and natural instinct make him one of the most deadly CS players. f0rest is my favourite fnatic player because he simply amazes, and his unique playstyle makes him the a very entertaining and exciting player to watch.

There is no single most fav player on Fnatic. Every single player on Fnatic is good in their own right and they support each other. If 1 player is weak in a certain angle, it will be someone strengths and so it makes up for it.

After watching Fnatic for years since their line-up of cArn, dsn, f0rest, Tentpole and Archi, they have always been the team to beat in any tournament, local or international. Despite what people in e-sport consider “mediocre placings” during their stint with ins in place of Tentpole, Fnatic is the kind of team that takes that statement with a grain of salt, puts it back in your food, & makes you eat it. If you fast-forward today to their championship @ ESWC Cheonan, with the line-up of: cArn, dsn, f0rest, GeT_RighT, & Gux, you could surely say GeT_RighT proved his worth in Fnatic. However, you cannot deny the phenomenal, outstanding, and most of all, consistent play that f0rest has produced since the inception of the original line-up to yesterday’s championship. Able to change his play style from the passive to aggressive on a whim, he can adapt to anything the weather throws at him, whether it be other teams or teammates, f0rest illustrates why he is so aptly named.

f0rest is my favorite player in the fnatic counter-strike team, when anyone first starts out playing counter-strike or any cs series games he is one of the first names they hear through word of mouth. “fnatic” “SK” “f0rest” “FroD” all of these names are such a large part of counter-strike and have all contributed so much and have been at the for front of cs for so long. I’ve always admired f0rest’s play style and amazing aim, I also believe he is one of the only top players that have such a large wealth of experience that genuinally isn’t in it souly for the money. f0rest has won many awards supporting the claim that he is the best player not only in fnatic cs but in the whole world of couner-strike and that is my reason for selecting f0rest as my favorite player in the fnatic cs squad.

the reason is not only because he is the in-game leader and more important, he’s always the one who courage the whole team, lift up the moral, create and maintain a harmonious atmosphere during the match which is very important for the performance.
As a in-game leader, in my opinion he is one of the best on this planet. composure, analysing ability, strain capacity and affinity make him stand in the centre of the team, like the conductor of a symphony orchestra
As a player himself, though he is not the frag machine in the team, he always stand behind his teammates’ back. During the match, he has to control his impulsive cause his job is not only hear and obey, which requires a lot more than anyone else in the team. I think it is very difficult to organise top players in a team, to make them listen to you you have to know them well and figure out how to get along with them, as the whole team fnatic is at the top place, the leader has to be the top of the tops.
Matter of fact I’ve never seen a team with a so high moral like fnatic. They encourage each other all the time during the game and I really can feel the happiness of playing the game. fnatic is not my only favorate team, but she’s the ony one that I love not only from the technical aspect.

1)first things required for professional cs1.6 gaming are reflexes and accuracy and no doubt he is one of the best at that.
2)he is a perfect mixture of aggressiveness and stealth , very clever indeed and know exactly when to peek and when not to, and when to push and when to fall back.
3)one other important aspect of the game is holding your nerve, he is always calm and in control and that why is successful at many clutch situations.
4)i have been watching him since couple of years and found out that he is very consistent in his performance and never let his teammates down.
5)he have a good hold over a variety of weapons including pistols, m4a1, awp(if needed),and no need to mention ak single bullet shots(as n0thing once said that they are a good shit)
6)last but not the least, a perfect teammate.

My Favorite Player is f0rest. f0rest because he is one of the players in the counter-strike scene who knows the game so well being able to cope with any situation whether its 1v3 or 1v2 he does it the best. His accuracy is great, his understanding is just awesome, he is a player with endless capabilities being able to play aggressive and defensive and being able to change his stance make’s him a perfect teammate and a great player. Being awarded best cs player has proven that f0rest is really one of the best players not only in fnatic.cs but also in the counter-strike community.

My favourite player, though not necessarily the one I admire most, is cArn.
Fnatic has undergone their first change in quite some time barely 2 weeks before their first major tournament in 2009, and by May have already won their second, skipping the “sudden-slump-due-to-adjustments-of-new-chemistry” stage entirely. mTw took months to adjust with whimp before they were able to reach top form, as with SK and zet. Fnatic didn’t even know that transition period existed. With 2 first places under their belt wlong with a 2nd place in less than 5 months, fnatic is going on strong. Honestly, I give cArn full credit for that, being able to call strats for his team mates even under unfamiliar conditions and having to know two new play styles in the team against top competitors. That combination of passion, talent and experience gathered over years of intensive competition is the reason why he is able to lead a team full of amazing players.
Oh, and he manages to shoot a few heads at the same time too, which isn’t too bad either.

My favourite fnatic’s player is GeT_RiGhT, the reason for choosing GeT_RiGhT is because he has been a top player in Sweden for many years now, playing with the best in Norway, Sweden and more. He had a short stint in SK-Gaming and deserved more of a chance to prove himself to show he was a top player but fnatic realised this before SK could pick him up again and GeT_RiGhT now is domanating the score boards and giving f0rest a run for his money in the mad fragger of the team.
Give it a few more event and GeT_RiGhT will be the person everyone mentions when they talk about fnatic.
With such great gamesense along with the aim and motivation GeT_RiGhT and fnatic will stay on top for a long time!

First of all i wanna say congratulations to Fnatic’s cs team.
They were just amazing in this tournament, only losing a close game in the group stage against SK.
Apart from the team , my favorite player in Fnatic it’s f0rest.
Mainly because he is without a doubt a awesome aimer and can read the game perfectly; Always doing the right things at the right time.
Plus you’ll notice that the team struggles a bit when he’s under performing.
Mostly because he’s a player that have a really few “bad” days.
If there was a perfect player, f0rest would be a serious candidate in my opinion.

My favorite player is dsn.
He is the one who made fnatic CS 1.6 so succesfull. He made the first succesfull lineup of the CS 1.6 team and i remember the first year of this lineup…in 2005 they won CPL Singapore, they won silver in CPL Brazil and etc.
I started making attention towards this team more then usually. I became a total fnatic fan…i remember how i would cheer for them on matches against teams like SK (and i believe that we all love to watch how these 2 teams play in a match against eachother) and dsn was always my hero in these matches. When he plays he never has big downs. He is just a very focused awper that hits his shots when he needs to hit them, but he is not just one of the best AWP players, he has great aim on weapons like colt and ak47 too. And i just love that he makes blogs for the fans, you can see how he tries for us! In my opinion, he wants us to succed in this game as he did! He just wants atleast one of his fans to become pro and that he would feel the stress before a match, the taste of winning it and most of all - RESPECT, because Counter-Strike is a game where people are arrogant and selfish almost all of the time, but that doesn’t make a great player, it just makes a great player die slowly inside him until he destroys himself in this game. Now i should ask myself, why DSN is such a succesfull player? And once more i can answer it quite easilly…perfect aim, perfect knowledge in the game, perfect EVERYTHING! And when a match ends, when fnatic wins he doesn’t brag about it infront of the team that lost. He respects them (as all players should do).
I know i won’t win this competition, but if there is any chance of Harley seeing my post, then it will be worth it.
Harley, i thank you for the joy of seeing how you play this game and i hope you will continue this only until it’s fun for you! cause if it’s not fun for you, then it’s not fun for me (and for other fans i guess) to see a good player, playing just for money and fame!

since he is finaly able to show his full potential after a bad transfer history going from one team to the next. Since arriving @ fnatic Gux really showed he is worth the spot in one of the best teams arround the World and showed some real good games @ Extrem Master in Hannover. He could have stayed a never seen talent, but due to fnatic he finaly reached his top format.

If we could compare Counter-Strike to Football, I would have to say that Harvey is the Alex Ferguson of CS! He has some lidership characteristics that, in my opinion, nobody else in CS does. The love to the “club”, the ambition, the humility, and that’s why fnatic is what they are today, because dsn never gave up on them! It’s not about who frags most or who calls the best decision ingame, it’s about mental strengh above all, and definitely only dsn has it!

Get_Right may have to be my favorite player.
-He can alternate between passive/aggressive situations, though he chooses to lead pushes into sites, especially places such as inferno A site.
-He lives a balanced lifestyle, successfully blending school with counter-strike, something all aspiring pro players should look up to.
-His aim is unparalleled with M4/AK, and because of this he can usually hold his site. For an example look at any of his EMIII matches. His clutch play and aggressive push on T side helped Fnatic win gold.
-Did I mention his aim was godlike?
All in all, Get_Right is a young professional who shows a degree of professionalism and balance in the industry that all young players should look to as an example of how to continue the success of esports itself.

My favourite player from fnatic is Patrik “f0rest” Lindberg.He is young and one of the most skilled player which I ever have to seen.
I very like him because He plays aggresive and sensibly simultaneously. He has large knowledge about Counter - Strike and he can tap it very well; he knows what to do when he stay 1 vs 2 or more; what to do in every round and he doesn’t panic. Not incidentally he got award for The Best Player and I think he is base of fnatic.

When I look at my favorite player, I try to look past the obvious and observe the dynamics that make fnatic an incredible team. Although fnatic consists of five of the world’s best players, my pick would have to be the captain: Harley “dsn” Örwall. With a superstar, championship roster to lead, his job is no walk in the park. When we look at our favorite players, many of us immediately point to the fragging stars of the team–I must admit that I heavily considered f0rest as my choice of favorite player. When it boils down to it, however, the captain is the one that ultimately shapes the team. Fnatic first climbed onto the world stage as a top international team with big wins in 2005. Ever since then, dsn has been the one leading the charge. Fnatic CS has acquired and lost many talented players over the years–at the end of the day, it’s dsn that calls the shots and molds the team in order to produce a winning formula.
In a way, he is the very core of the counter-strike team we all know and love. Without great leaders, great things may never happen. We all ask ourselves what may have happened if some of our favorite star players never got the opportunity to connect with the players (and importantly, leaders) that they did, and eventually achieve greatness in E-sports. What if fRoD never joined coL? What if neo never joined PGS? What it comes down to, at least in my mind, is the opportunity to truly flesh out the potential of these players and incorporate them into a team effort. Through all of the changes and turns that a community like the Counter-Strike community has gone through, he has stuck through it all and has consistently shaped and led fnatic to the top of the world’s ladder.
