You can’t put a finger on the new Fnatic Apparel line - enough said. Sam sent over a bunch of shirts for us last week and with eye-catching graphics as well as American Apparel quality and fit, we’re proudly sporting this gear so far.

Check out more pics after the jump below, and browse through more color options and designs over on the Fnatic Apparel site - these babies are priced fairly at €17.50. :-)

Anno 1404

Friday, June 19th, 2009

Other than being a year where a lot of royal and war-related stuff took place (thanks Wikipedia), Anno 1404 is also the title of a brand new PC title from Ubisoft. You know - the guys who brought you the likes of Far Cry, Splinter Cell, Assasin’s Creed, Prince of Persia, etc. etc.).

Basically this new game revolves around you being able to build your own empire, by mastering economy, politics, battle and construction - and to judge from the trailer it looks quite awesome.

Anyways, to celebrate the launch we teamed up with the Scandinavian Ubisoft branch to give away a bunch of headsets in a competition over on the Ubisoft site, so make sure to kick off the weekend in a proper way and sign up for the contest. :)

USB Soundcard 2.21 beta driver up for testing

Tuesday, June 16th, 2009

We have a new driver for our USB sound cards ready which is still in beta - but it solves one of the issues we have gotten many reports about lately: The critical errors with World of Warcraft.

We know it’s just a beta and that there might be some problems, but since we have so many WoW players out there, we assumed you guys wanted to take the chance to try out this new driver and leave some feedback in the comments – it is greatly appreciated. So if you need our driver badly and have experience with trying beta versions (we know many of you run Windows 7 already), you can give this thing a spin for sure!

Known issues:
- Under Vista, selecting a different sound source then 2 CH can result in a DirectSound error, which can be solved by selecting 2 CH again and re-plugging the device

DOWNLOAD HERE

P.S.: This is a beta. There can be problems. If you experience any – please leave a comment including your operating system so we can verify and eliminate it. :)

New Z Engine available for download

Wednesday, June 10th, 2009

To all of the Zboarder’s, version 2.5.0.29 of the Z Engine was released yesterday, with the following change log:

- Streamlined Mod File List:

-> Switching mod files just got easier - you can simply double click on a game in the Z Engine to select it, instead of its single “Default” mod. To enable this feature, go to “Tools->Options->Hide Single Mod” menu. Games with multiple mods available will still be listed under the game.

- Improved Command Toolbar:

-> Introduced categories – now all game commands are grouped in relevant categories, such as “movement”, “weapon” etc.

-> Added different toolbar views: Icons, Tabs and Tree. It simplifies the mod editing and helps you quickly navigate through different groups.>

- Added new Mods: Fallout 3 and Mass Effect. More new mods will be coming out soon – they will be posted through the built-in Mod/Device Update mechanism, stay tuned.

- Fixed several bugs leading to a crash on startup or when opening the main window.
