Introducing the SteelSeries Siberia v2
Over the last couple of years, we have received a lot of positive feedback and suggestions with regards to our products, one of these being the Siberia Full-Size headset.
We decided that we could bring to reality some of these suggestions from you to our beloved Siberia - without compromising on its design or comfort, thus resulting in the launch of our brand spanking new Siberia v2 headset.
I guess most of you are wondering what the differences are between the first Siberia and this new version so we have listed the changes for you below (and included a nice little picture):

- Reduced headband profile for better comfort
- Outer layer material changed to leather for better passive noise reduction
- New sound dampening foam to boost passive noise reduction
- Driver units boosted from 40mm to 50mm provides a very detailed and precise soundscape
- Near “invisible” microphone system- Closed earcup design for passive noise cancellation
- New mini in-line volume regulator with microphone mute switch
- Larger ear cups to support 50mm speaker units and improve comfort
- Reinforced headband for optimized pressure, stability

leather material ? many people have a lot of problems with leather, because the ear area getting warm really quick and you gonna sweat a lot faster. there a so many posts in the internet of users, because of that problem with leather material, for example the sennheiser 350.
leather sucks for long gaming sessions.
