That’s quick solution for a lancenter, but when you’re at home, disconnecting and connecting your xai all the time is gonna get rather annoying pretty quick.

Steelseries HAS to fix this soon, for a company that claims they sell premium products, they sure as hell have a problem making it work properly. They are like the creative of gaming gear. the X-FI had driver problems, now the xai has firmware problems. And both companies take FOREVER to fix those problems.

Don’t get me wrong, the xai is wonderful, IF it works that is.

Thank you for your information ! I only play at cyber center where my team play and train ! all I need to do is wait till the windows loaded, then plug my XAI :D

anyway I don’t think they (steelseries) are going to fix this soon, so we need to live with these problems :(

hi robocop, I already have that off. usb legacy, usb mouse etc are all turned off. Only usb keyboard is enabled.

and if you were talking about me boot devices. the only boot device selected is my ssd.

Not to mention, I have a external harddrive connected to the pc, yet this doesn’t duplicate the problem.

The problem really is a bug in the steelseries firmware.

(I really do hope they fix the cpi-inconsistency (where 400cpi feel like 5001 if you have both led on and off set to 400cpi) and the boot-freeze problem !!)

I have the same problem !

(the boot-freeze problem). This is not a problem, I think because Xai has the memory inside so the computer recognize it as a flash drive USB. So if your bios set to startup the computer first by CD-rom, then by USB, your computer get frozen !!

JUST GO TO BIOS SYSTEM TO TURN OFF START UP BY USB !

Thank you for all those comments. I was considering buying that mouse, now I’m really glad I did not buy it.

When is a new firmware going to be released?!

I’d love to use simple keyboard key bind functionality for the Xai instead of using macros.

I only found a few of those mice with the sensor listed, the thing i like about the XAI is the customization through the lcd screen instead of using a GUI. Have you tried those other mice astro?

#134 If I do recall correctly 3/5 fnatic’s BEST is using the kinzu. Gux, F0rest, Get_Right. I didn’t know those other mice had identical sensors good to know :) I heard about the GX9 having identical sensors but not the other ones.

How do you know that they are all using identical sensors? I don’t recall the package indicating the brand and model of the sensor.
