“… Amazing audio quality.”

Wednesday, July 28th, 2010

LanOC just published their review of the SteelSeries 7H headset, concluding in both a Recommended- and Editor’s Choice Award. Here’s a few quotes from reviewer Wes Compton:

“The audio quality of the 7H when listening to music was truly impressive. In game it was no different. Not only was the audio quality top notch but the directionality in game is great as well. The 7H’s audio quality is where it shows why this is Steel Series’s flagship headset. In fact my biggest problem was finding MP3’s of the higher quality in my collection.”

“At just under $130 this isn’t a cheap headset but you are no doubt getting your money’s worth.”

What to do on a Monday evening?

    Friday, July 23rd, 2010

We all know that the Monday evenings sometimes tend to end up in a mix of unhealthy food and sleeping halfway through a terrible Hollywood flick. But not this one.

StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty is launching at 00:01 on Tuesday the 27th of July, which means that it’s once again time for the most awesome midnight openings. We’re providing prizes for the queuing gamers mainly in the official German, Swedish, French, English, Mexican, Brazilian, Australian and Russian midnight openings but also the smaller, unofficial events taking place to celebrate the launch of this game.

    null

One happening that I have to bring up is the midnight store opening in Media Markt Rotterdam Centrum, Netherlands, where Team EG’s world famous WarCraft III player Manuel “Grubby” Schenkhuizen will be in attendance over the course of the night to hang out, meet’n'greet and sign your copy of StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty.

See you at 00:01 on Tuesday. :-)

    Do the unbox.

    Thursday, July 22nd, 2010

YouTuber/blogger LinusTechTips recently posted up one of the first English unboxing videos of the SteelSeries 7H USB. While we love the thoroughness of this guys’ videos, we also like the fact that his tiger-ish cat is testing the anti-ghosting feature of his SteelSeries 7G keyboard.

    Check the video below. :-)
