StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty is out and as with any other awesome happening in life, a serious celebration is appropriate.
Blizzard’s Senior Art Director for StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty, Samwise Didier, and Blizzard Illustrator Wei Wang (who created the iconic Kerrigan vs. Zeratul, Nuke and Spectre images) have put their signatures on some SteelSeries Limited Edition QcK Tychus Findlay (signed by Wei) and SteelSeries Limited Edition QcK Marauder (signed by Samwise) mousepads, which we are now giving away. To you.

Starting July 26th, we’re kicking off the SteelSeries TMNF Cup in cooperation with PlayAll.com. Loads of cash- and product prizes from ourselves, Kingston and Kaspersky are up for grabs in the four week-long tournament, that’ll feature both weekly raffle and bonus prizes - but also a grand final for €1,000 on August 28th.

Last week saw the announcement of our Heroes of Newerth mousepad design contest, in cooperation with GosuGamers, as a part of the $40,000 SteelSeries HoN World Cup.
Rules are simple: 1. Create a user over on GosuGamers, 2. Send an email to contest@gosugamers.net along with your design, GosuGamers account name, e-mail addy and full name.
The winning design will be chosen and launched as a limited edition custom SteelSeries mousepad. On top, the winner will receive a SteelSeries prize package consisting of a Siberia v2 headset, a Xai Laser mouse, a 6Gv2 keyboard and finally their own limited edition HoN mousepad with the autograph of S2 Games’ (the guys who developed HoN) founder Marc “Maliken” DeForest.

Thought I’d drop a quick update on the SteelSeries & J!NX epic loot pack give-away, that’s been running over on our Facebook pages for the past couple of weeks.
First week saw a random draw between all J!NX and SteelSeries fans, whereas in week 2, entrants were asked to post a World of Warcraft in-game screenshot of their favorite person/place/activity in Azeroth (Kalimdor and Eastern Kingdoms).

Heroes of Newerth (aka. “HoN”) has been on everyone’s lips since last years’ beta release, and now currently averages 50,000 players at any given time and a total +2.5 million registered users.
So - to make sure that the upcoming launch of HoN is going to be as huge as possible, we teamed up with #1 RTS-community, GosuGamers to bring you the SteelSeries Heroes of Newerth World Cup with a total $40,000 prize pool.
In addition to the tournament itself which will feature 5 regional qualifiers to cover the entire planet, we also announced a mousepad design contest, giving GosuGamers registered members a chance to get their own HoN artwork picked out and printed on the upcoming SteelSeries QcK HoN mousepads.
Finally, any participating team in the Heroes of Newerth World Cup will be asked to pick out the team they believe will take home the FIFA 2010 World Cup gold in South Africa, to enter a raffle for $1,000.
