If you haven’t heard, Bloodline Champions is the new, thirsty kid on the block. If you dig fast-paced PVP’ing, then you will love this new game where developers Stunlock Studios have put focus on short cooldowns, no grinding, farming and even no mana, to put complete focus on the duel itself.

Anyways - we’ve just announced a serious load of product prizes for the upcoming SteelSeries Beta Cup for the game which is happening on the 5th of September. To compete in the tournament, simply enter your 3-player team and climb up the Bloodline Champions team ladder. The top8 teams will battle it out for the following prizes on the 5th of September:

Sponsorship of Go4SC2 Cup announced

A big piece of news is announced from the SteelSeries camp today, as our sponsorship of ESL’s Go4SC2 Cup is now public.

The sponsorship ensures a weekly €200 cash prize as well as a monthly €500 cash prize for the monthly finals, in one of Europe’s largest, free-to-enter StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty online tournaments.

Blizzard’s Senior Art Director for StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty, Samwise Didier, and Blizzard Illustrator Wei Wang (who created the iconic Kerrigan vs. Zeratul, Nuke and Spectre images) have put their signatures on some SteelSeries Limited Edition QcK Tychus Findlay (signed by Wei) and SteelSeries Limited Edition QcK Marauder (signed by Samwise) mousepads, which we are now giving away.     Last week saw the announcement of our Heroes of Newerth mousepad design contest, in cooperation with GosuGamers, as a part of the $40,000 SteelSeries HoN World Cup.

    Rules are simple: 1. Create a user over on GosuGamers, 2. Send an email to contest@gosugamers.net along with your design, GosuGamers account name, e-mail addy and full name.

    The winning design will be chosen and launched as a limited edition custom SteelSeries mousepad. On top, the winner will receive a SteelSeries prize package consisting of a Siberia v2 headset, a Xai Laser mouse, a 6Gv2 keyboard and finally their own limited edition HoN mousepad with the autograph of S2 Games’ (the guys who developed HoN) founder Marc “Maliken” DeForest.
